Current Projects

Currently, WEAG is excavating at Copped Hall on behalf of the Copped Hall Trust, investigating the remains of the 16th Century Tudor Mansion.  WEAG has also undertaken investigations at Wanstead
Park, further work may be carried out there in future.

Copped Hall Trust Archaeological Project 2018

The 2018 season of digs open to the public include three Archaeology Experience Weekends for absolute beginners in July (14th - 15th, 21st - 22nd, 28th - 29th), followed by two Field Schools (each of 5 days) for the more experienced digger in August (Saturday 11th - Wednesday 15th and Saturday 25th - Wednesday 29th: NB these latter 2 dates are subject to confirmation) - further details will be available shortly.
