Apple Day is a celebration of Copped Hall’s apple orchards. Join in the fun and help with the juicing. There will be a display and apples for sale. Andrew Tann, who is an authority on apples and grows over 150 varieties of applies in his 15-acre orchard, will be on site to help identify the variety of any mystery apples that you have growing in your garden; bring them along!
There will be stalls, exhibitions, home-made and home-grown produce for sale, and children’s entertainment, dog show and various circus skills & the Chingford Morris Men performing traditional dances. The Walled Garden will be selling plants. The Trust shop & the popular second-hand book will be open.

The City Wall at Vine Street: 12 Jewry Street, London, EC3N 2HT

It showcases a brilliant collection of archaeological material excavated from the site, 2000 years of history and a large section of the Roman wall. Not just the special finds but also a large quantity of bulk material showing the breadth of evidence used to interpret the site.

COLCHESTER – Roman Circus: Roman Circus Walk, Colchester CO2 7GZ
The visitor centre, gardens and tea room with an interpretation devoted to the Roman Circus, including the reconstructed bases of the starting gates outside the centre, a model of the circus and a computer 3D model featuring the Roman town in the background.
